Riley joins the lab... again!
In a happy twist of fate Riley Hannan, a past undergraduate research assistant in the lab at GA Tech, has joined the new lab at UVA! Riley is a co-author on two manuscripts from the lab while at GA Tech, including a Nature Materials paper. At UVA Riley will bridge the Matrix Biology lab with the lab of Dr. Shayn Pierce-Cottler, a BME faculty member that studies microvascular biology, agent-based modeling, and the roles of pericytes in vascular development and disease. We are looking forward to build a strong collaboration with Shayn's lab and look forward to the exciting things Riley will be doing. Stay tuned!
